在制造光学窗口方面,紫外熔融石英具有在紫外至近红外波长范围内高透射率的优势。在选择制造反射镜基片时,光学特性并不重要,因为基片材料对反射镜的光学特性没有影响。紫外熔融石英的优点包括杂质含量低、热膨胀系数低和机械强度高。
